Family Law Attorney

Overview

A growing law firm is seeking a Family Law Attorney with 4+ years of experience to manage a caseload of complex family law matters. This role requires strong litigation skills, client management experience, and the ability to handle cases from intake through resolution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and confident in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of family law matters including divorce, custody, support, and property division
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
• Advise clients on case strategy, timelines, and legal options
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management
• Maintain accurate case files and meet all deadlines

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• 4+ years of family law experience
• Active California Bar license in good standing
• Strong litigation and courtroom experience
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently
• Experience with case management software (e.g., Clio or similar) preferred
