Family Law Attorney
Responsibilities:
• Handle a wide variety of family law cases, including divorce, custody disputes, support matters, and restraining orders.
• Develop effective legal strategies and communicate directly with clients to understand their needs and goals.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents required for case progression.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate for their best interests.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
• Maintain accurate case documentation using tools like MyCase and Dropbox.
• Stay updated on family law regulations and practices to provide informed counsel.
• Manage cases autonomously from initiation to resolution, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.
• Address urgent client needs with professionalism and sensitivity.
Qualifications:
• Must be a licensed attorney in California.• Demonstrated experience handling family law cases, including litigation.
• Proficiency in legal document drafting and courtroom advocacy.
• Familiarity with legal software such as MyCase and Dropbox.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction.
• Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and managing priorities.
• Knowledge of restraining orders and related legal processes.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
Compensation
