BI Developer

Overview:

We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role focuses on creating impactful dashboards and visualizations that empower decision-making across the organization. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver insights that drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions.
• Design and develop dashboards and reports that provide a clear visualization of company data.
• Collaborate with data engineers (who create data sets) to build dashboards on top of curated data.
• Maintain a customer success mindset, ensuring solutions meet stakeholder needs and add value.
• Utilize cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or SQL-based environments.
• Stay current with BI tools and best practices to continuously improve reporting capabilities.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in BI development, data visualization, or analytics.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Power BI; experience with Sigma Computing is a huge plus.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks) and relational database architecture.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with business stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality dashboards that tell a story.

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced data visualization skills and ability to create intuitive dashboards.
• Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Spotfire) is beneficial.
• Strategic thinker with a passion for improving business through data insights.
