Business Intelligence (BI) Developer
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain dashboards and enterprise reports that deliver reliable insights for casino operations, financial performance, marketing activity, and executive review.
• Partner with department leaders and key stakeholders to gather reporting needs, define business logic, and translate objectives into effective BI solutions.
• Redesign legacy reports into modern visualizations and interactive dashboards using data from casino management platforms, analytics systems, and related databases.
• Integrate information from multiple sources, including operational systems, databases, cubes, and spreadsheet-based data, to support comprehensive reporting.
• Verify data quality and reconcile reporting outputs to ensure consistency between source systems, semantic models, and published dashboards.
• Present complex metrics in a clear, business-friendly format that supports analysis of slot operations, player loyalty, promotions, poker activity, and revenue trends.
• Improve reporting workflows for usability, efficiency, and scalability while supporting enhancements to existing BI processes and tools.
• Document calculations, reporting structures, and dashboard logic to support transparency, maintenance, and long-term governance.
• Train internal team members on BI platform capabilities, dashboard design, report upkeep, and data visualization best practices, while providing ongoing technical guidance throughout the engagement.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a BI Developer, Reporting Developer, or Data Visualization role with responsibility for delivering business-critical dashboards and reports.• Hands-on experience in the casino or gaming industry with a strong understanding of slot analytics, player tracking, poker reporting, marketing performance, and operational KPIs.
• Proficiency with modern BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SQL-based development, including T-SQL, and experience working with relational databases and reporting data structures.
• Experience with Microsoft BI technologies such as SSRS, SSIS, SQL Server Business Intelligence, and related reporting environments.
• Familiarity with analytical models, semantic layers, or multidimensional data sources used to support enterprise reporting.
• Ability to validate data accuracy, apply business rules consistently, and produce high-trust reporting assets for operational and leadership teams.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills are strongly preferred.
