Product Owner

On-site | Austin, TX | Contract

Robert Half is partnering with a financial services organization to identify a Product Owner with Sageworks experience. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development and delivery of loan origination systems.

Responsibilities:

• Define and prioritize product features and requirements to align with business goals.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed product requirements.

• Manage and refine the product backlog, ensuring clarity and prioritization.

• Work closely with development teams to communicate product vision and address any roadblocks.

• Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Monitor product progress and track bugs using tools like Atlassian Jira.

• Analyze user feedback and market trends to recommend improvements.

• Ensure product deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.

• Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in product management or as a Product Owner.

• 1+ years of experience utilizing Sageworks.

• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and practices.

• Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for backlog grooming and bug tracking.

• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize a product backlog.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret user feedback and market data.

• Familiarity with bug tracking systems and tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
