Job Information US - Legal Editor

Robert Half Legal is partnering with a distinguished client seeking an experienced Securities Litigation Attorney to support the development of online legal content. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong writing skills who is seeking flexible, part‑time, remote work.

Pay: $45/hour

Location: Remote – Any U.S. Time Zone

Hours: 5–15 hours/week

Duration: 6 months to start (strong possibility of extension)

Start: ASAP

About the Role

The Securities Litigation Attorney Editor will collaborate with the Securities Litigation/Enforcement & White-Collar Content Manager to create and refine practical guidance resources. The ideal candidate will have recent hands‑on experience with securities litigation, particularly PSLRA-related litigation and securities derivative matters.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit practical “how‑to” guidance on securities litigation topics and emerging trends
• Draft, review, and annotate practice notes, forms, and checklists
• Apply subject-matter expertise to support ongoing content development
• Work independently while collaborating with internal content teams as needed

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of any U.S. State Bar (retired status accepted)
• 3+ years of recent securities litigation experience
• Solid understanding of securities litigation laws, trends, and best practices
• Experience drafting litigation documents, forms, or related guidance materials
• Excellent legal writing, editing, and research abilities
• Strong communication skills; organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
