Remote Litigation Attorney – Midsize Trial Firm

Robert Half Legal is proud to partner with a dynamic midsize trial firm focusing on plaintiff-side litigation in their search for a skilled Litigation Attorney. This firm handles a diverse portfolio, including employment law, personal injury, mass torts, and complex litigation matters. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and fully remote position. All candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft dispositive motions, pleadings, and other court filings.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide strategic analysis.
• Manage discovery processes, including document review and deposition preparation.
• Oversee ongoing case management from intake through resolution or trial.
• Prepare clients, exhibits, and materials for trial and participate in trial strategy sessions.
• Collaborate closely with partners and other attorneys to drive case success in employment, personal injury, and complex litigation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member, in good standing, of the California State Bar.
• 2+ years of litigation experience, ideally with a background in plaintiff-side employment, personal injury, or mass torts.
• Experience drafting dispositive motions and pleadings, conducting legal research, and managing complex litigation from inception to trial prep.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote environment.
