Description

The William S. Dietrich II Economic Theory Center of the Department of Economics will have an opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in September 2027. Primary criteria are the quality of the applicant's research and interest/experience in microeconomic theory.

This position provides an outstanding opportunity for independent research as well as opportunities for collaboration with Princeton faculty and graduate students. Postdoctoral Research Associate may participate in the teaching program if mutually agreed, with sufficient course enrollments, and with the approval of the Office of the Dean of the Faculty. Postdoctoral Research Associate is expected to participate actively in the intellectual activities of Princeton University.

Position at the postdoctoral rank are for one academic year with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding. Proof of Ph.D. completion is required.

This position is not eligible for sponsorship of an H-1B visa requiring consular processing; other visa sponsorships (including H-1B visas not requiring consular processing) may be available, as appropriate.

This position is subject to the University's background check policy. The work location for this position is in-person on campus at Princeton University.


Qualifications

Applicants must have (or expect to have by the start of the appointment) a PhD in Economics.
