Job Description Summary

Bentley University seeks a highly motivated and analytically skilled Program & Operations Analyst to join the Strategy & Innovation Division (SID) and support its growth and transformation agenda. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in strategic analysis, program operations and evaluation, and business development support, with a strong foundation in data analytics and AI-enabled workflows. The Program & Operations Analyst will support global and strategic initiatives, Executive & Professional Education (EPE), and related growth efforts, reporting to the Director of Global & Strategic Initiatives, Head of EPE, and working closely with the Senior Program Manager, Executive & Professional Education, and Director of Enrollment Systems and Data Strategy, Strategy and Innovation.

Essential Duties

Strategic Analysis & Insights

  • Build dashboards, scorecards, and KPI frameworks to monitor program performance, market activity, and strategic initiatives.

  • Conduct market, competitor, benchmarking, and trend analyses to identify growth opportunities and inform EPE strategy.

  • Use quantitative analysis, scenario modeling, and AI-enabled tools to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

  • Translate analytical findings into executive-ready presentations, briefs, and recommendations.

Program Management & Evaluation

  • Support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of EPE programs, including custom, open enrollment, online, and blended offerings.

  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications to ensure effective program execution.

  • Develop and support program evaluation frameworks, including surveys, outcome measurement, and post-program assessment.

  • Analyze participant, client, and program data to identify improvement opportunities and inform future program development.

  • Support of other strategic initiatives as needed.

Business Development Support & Market Research

  • Support sales proposal development for client opportunities.

  • Conduct market research, benchmarking, and demand analysis to identify business opportunities, partnership prospects, and client leads.

  • Analyze market, client, and pipeline data to inform business development strategy, proposal development, and partner prioritization.

  • Maintain CRM (Hubspot) and pipeline data to support lead tracking, client engagement, and partnership development.

  • Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to support outreach and strategic marketing initiatives.

AI & Data Analytics

  • Use AI-enabled tools to improve research, coding, documentation, and reporting workflows across strategic initiatives and program operations.

  • Apply machine learning and generative AI to support insight generation and data-informed decision-making.

  • Stay current with developments in AI and analytics and their applications in higher education and executive learning.

  • Support strategic segmentation in the CRM and associated activities for sales and marketing campaigns.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field is preferred.

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in strategic analysis, program operations, business development support, or a related field.

  • Experience in strategic analysis, market research, business development support, or program operations, including internships or academic projects.

  • Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Python and R preferred.

  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to support research, analysis, reporting, or workflow improvement.

  • Experience preparing analyses, presentations, and briefing materials for senior leaders or executive stakeholders, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to non-technical audiences.

  • Experience working across international markets and multicultural environments, supporting global partnerships, cross-border sales, and diverse stakeholder engagement.

  • Experience with dashboarding, survey tools, and program evaluation methods strongly preferred.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Office-based work with frequent computer use.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Occasional evening/weekend work.

  • Ability to travel within and outside campus for work related meetings and events.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.

In alignment with the Massachusetts Pay Transparency Act and our commitment to equity and transparency, we’re sharing the salary grade range for this role. The grade range is based on market data and the scope of responsibilities. Final pay will depend on your experience, education, and other relevant qualifications.

Salary Grade Range:

$60,225 - $96,687 per year
