Job Description:

The Service Training Instructor is responsible for delivering established training programs in classroom, virtual, field, and hands-on environments using approved curriculum, training materials, and instructional methods. This role ensures a safe, engaging, and effective learning experience by facilitating technical instruction, assessing trainee performance, and providing constructive feedback to support skill development. The Service Training Instructor prepares training equipment, materials, simulators, and learning aids, maintains training documentation, and supports the successful execution of training programs. Working within defined standards and procedures, the Service Training Instructor collaborates with internal partners to support training delivery and contributes recommendations for continuous improvement based on training observations and learner feedback.

  • Taking Initiative: Proactively prepares training materials, equipment, and resources to ensure successful delivery. Takes ownership of creating a positive and effective learning experience.

  • Managing Execution: Delivers training effectively across multiple environments while following established schedules and procedures. Maintains accurate records and documentation to support consistency and compliance.

  • Focusing on Performance: Evaluates learner performance using established assessment methods and provides constructive feedback. Supports participant development while maintaining training quality standards.

  • Building Collaborative Relationships: Creates an inclusive and engaging learning environment that encourages collaboration. Builds productive relationships with learners, partners, and stakeholders to support training success.

  • Influencing People: Communicates technical information clearly and effectively to promote understanding and confidence. Uses engaging facilitation techniques to encourage participation and knowledge retention.

  • Being Authentic: Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and dependability in all training activities. Builds trust and credibility through ethical behavior and consistent actions.

  • Being Open: Actively seeks feedback and applies insights to improve instructional effectiveness. Pursues continuous learning and professional development to strengthen training impact.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Work Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED + 1-3 years of relevant experience in technical service, equipment maintenance, field service operations, training delivery, or a related industrial environment.

  • Experience delivering structured training, coaching, mentoring, or technical instruction preferred.

  • Working knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional delivery techniques.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences with varying levels of experience.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

  • Foundational understanding of:

  • Technical service training methodologies

  • Equipment service processes and troubleshooting practices

  • Safety protocols and operational procedures

  • Basic working knowledge of:

  • Electrical systems and schematic interpretation

  • Training technologies, virtual learning platforms, and instructional tools

  • Ability to learn new technologies, products, and training content while adapting to changing business needs.
