Corporate Controller
Our client is a high-growth, scaling organization seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Corporate Controller to lead its accounting function and help build the financial infrastructure needed to support continued growth.

The Corporate Controller will have significant visibility with senior leadership and will play a key role in strengthening the accounting function, improving reporting, and providing the financial insight needed to support strategic decision-making.
Corporate Controller Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial information
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, continuously improving the speed and accuracy of financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reporting packages
- Establish and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and processes as the organization scales
- Lead the development of a scalable accounting infrastructure capable of supporting continued growth
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, cash management, and other core accounting functions
- Manage and develop the accounting team, providing coaching, mentorship, and clear expectations for performance
- Partner closely with executive leadership and operational teams to provide financial insight and support business decisions
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process in partnership with the CFO and senior leadership
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and key financial metrics to support the organization's growth objectives
- Provide meaningful analysis and reporting to help leadership understand business performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Coordinate the annual audit, tax filings, and relationships with external accounting, tax, and financial partners
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
- Evaluate and implement improvements to accounting systems, technology, and reporting tools
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to increase efficiency and scalability
- Support special projects, acquisitions, new business initiatives, and other strategic priorities as the company continues to grow

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with experience at the Controller level
- Strong technical accounting and GAAP knowledge
- Proven experience managing the full accounting function
- Experience leading and developing an accounting team
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, month-end close, internal controls, and cash management
- Experience working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial, or scaling organization strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes, implement controls, and introduce automation
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach
Compensation
