Lead Document Controller
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lead Document Controller to manage and maintain critical project and business documentation. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for document control processes, ensuring documents are accurately tracked, filed, distributed, and maintained in accordance with company standards and compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong document management experience, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments while maintaining strict confidentiality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain document control systems, ensuring accurate organization, storage, and retrieval of records.
- Review, track, and process incoming and outgoing documents.
- Maintain document revision histories and version control procedures.
- Ensure documentation complies with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate document distribution to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular audits of files and records to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Monitor document workflows and follow up on outstanding approvals or revisions.
- Create and maintain logs, reports, and filing systems related to project and operational documentation.
- Provide guidance and support to team members regarding document control procedures and best practices.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance document management efficiency.

Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Previous experience in document control, records management, administrative support, or a related field.
- Experience serving in a lead or senior-level document control capacity preferred.
- Strong knowledge of document management systems and electronic filing practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Compensation
