Business Systems Analyst
Responsibilities:
• Engage with business partners to gather insights on current workflows, document operational steps, and capture issues, dependencies, and decision paths.
• Develop process diagrams, written procedures, and supporting documentation that clearly describe how work moves across teams and systems.
• Review operational data such as workload levels, turnaround times, and effort required to establish performance baselines and highlight improvement areas.
• Recommend practical ways to streamline, standardize, and automate business activities, including opportunities where AI can add value.
• Convert process findings into structured business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that guide implementation efforts.
• Collaborate with business leaders, product stakeholders, and technical teams to evaluate, prioritize, and deliver process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with testing, validation, and post-implementation review to confirm solutions meet business needs and produce measurable results.
• Track a portfolio of enhancement and automation ideas by maintaining status, priority, and expected business impact.
• Provide analytical support for governance, risk, and compliance-related workflows such as third-party risk review, audit evidence collection, regulatory reporting, and remediation activities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.• At least 1 year of experience in business analysis, process improvement, operations support, project coordination, or a similar function.
• Demonstrated ability to map processes, gather requirements, and evaluate workflow effectiveness through stakeholder discussions and analysis.
• Experience identifying process gaps and recommending improvements that enhance consistency, efficiency, or automation potential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear, organized documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools; familiarity with workflow, automation, process mapping, or AI-related platforms is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Agile or Scrum concepts, gap analysis, and business process improvement practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and support implementation activities in a structured environment.
Compensation
