Investigations Review Attorney

We are looking for an experienced litigation attorney to support a legal complaint investigation team in Los Angeles, California. This long-term contract opportunity is well suited for a licensed attorney who brings a strong background in civil litigation, complaint assessments, and document-intensive casework. The position focuses on evaluating investigative materials, preparing legal written work, and contributing to discovery and motion practice in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess complaints and investigative files to identify legal issues, factual patterns, and potential risk exposure.

• Conduct detailed document analysis to support case strategy, investigative findings, and legal recommendations.

• Prepare motions, briefs, and other written submissions with clear legal reasoning and thorough citation support.

• Assist with discovery efforts by organizing materials, reviewing records, and helping develop response strategies.

• Examine case documentation and evidence to support internal investigations and related legal proceedings.

• Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to develop case approaches and maintain progress across active matters.

• Summarize findings from reviews and present concise written analyses for legal and investigative stakeholders.liti

Qualifications:

• Active license to practice law in CA.

• At least 2 years of experience in legal practice with exposure to civil litigation matters.

• Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, and other formal legal documents.

• Hands-on experience with discovery processes, including review and analysis of case materials.

• Strong background in document review and complaint investigation work.

• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues into clear legal analysis.

• Ability to manage a high volume of detailed work accurately and efficiently in a contract-based role.
