Investor Services Specialist
We are looking for an Investor Services Specialist to support client relationships and servicing operations for mortgage portfolios in northwest suburbs of Chicago Illinois. In this role, you will partner with clients and internal teams to manage onboarding activities, coordinate servicing-related requests, and help maintain a high standard of service. This position is ideal for someone who communicates effectively, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and brings prior experience in mortgage servicing or portfolio administration.
Responsibilities:
• Build and sustain positive working relationships with assigned clients by providing timely updates, clear communication, and dependable support.
• Oversee key portfolio activities such as onboarding, loan boarding coordination, servicing transfers, and service release tasks.
• Partner with internal departments to organize and support the setup of new client portfolios and related operational deliverables.
• Deliver guidance and training to clients on servicing portals, reporting tools, system features, and available services.
• Manage audit confirmation requests, portfolio review coordination, client inquiries, and other servicing-related follow-up activities.
• Conduct payment history research, account-level analysis, and detailed servicing investigations to support client needs.
• Act as a central point of coordination between clients and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently and maintain service quality.
• Contribute to service-level tracking, reporting support, quality-focused efforts, and process enhancement initiatives.
• Use servicing platforms, workflow systems, and reporting technology to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience in mortgage servicing, client support, investor relations, portfolio administration, banking operations, project coordination, or a related field.• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional college education such as an associate degree is preferred.
• Previous experience in mortgage servicing, client services, investor support, or portfolio-related operations is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Black Knight systems is preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills are required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate across teams, and maintain accuracy in a detail-oriented environment.
• Experience with residential mortgage operations, loan administration, escrow processing, or mortgage payment activities is beneficial.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.
Compensation
