Scale Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Welcome customers and assist with transaction processing while contributing to a cooperative and safety-focused workplace.
• Operate truck scales with accuracy, ensuring vehicle weights are recorded correctly for daily operations.
• Prepare, enter, and monitor invoicing information to support timely and organized recordkeeping.
• Complete data entry and other computer-based assignments promptly and with attention to detail.
• Provide administrative support through a variety of general office tasks that keep operations running smoothly.
• Deliver responsive customer service by answering questions and addressing routine concerns professionally.
• Handle inbound and outbound communication related to customer service, order details, and transaction support.
Qualifications:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers.• Solid math abilities and confidence working with numbers in a transactional environment.
• Prior experience in customer service, call handling, or a similar support role is preferred.
• Ability to perform order entry and maintain accurate records in computer systems.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks efficiently in a busy office or plant setting.
• Strong attention to detail and a dependable approach to daily responsibilities.
Compensation
