Medical Front Desk
The Medical Receptionist is responsible for providing front-desk support in a healthcare office. This role greets patients, schedules appointments, manages phone calls, verifies insurance information, updates patient records, and supports smooth daily office operations. Based on general knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner. Based on general knowledge.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls. Based on general knowledge.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments. Based on general knowledge.
- Check patients in and out and collect required documentation. Based on general knowledge.
- Verify insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations. Based on general knowledge.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information. Based on general knowledge.
- Process payments, copays, and balances when applicable. Based on general knowledge.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow. Based on general knowledge.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and data entry. Based on general knowledge.

Qualifications:
