Property Administrator
Responsibilities:
• Manage rent-related administrative activities and partner with accounting to keep financial records accurate and up to date.
• Complete resident certification and recertification documentation in accordance with affordable housing and tax credit program requirements.
• Prepare and distribute compliance-related notices while maintaining organized documentation for property files.
• Triage and coordinate service requests for both residential and commercial spaces to ensure timely resolution.
• Review and process invoices, track expenses, and support routine reporting and operational paperwork.
• Coordinate unit turnover activities by working closely with maintenance staff and monitoring readiness timelines.
• Assist in sourcing and scheduling outside vendors for property needs while following established procedures.
• Provide general administrative support for the property office, including use of standard office equipment and business software.
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of property management experience within affordable housing, including exposure to regulated housing programs.• Working knowledge of tax credit compliance and resident file documentation requirements.
• Experience supporting rent collection, resident communications, and day-to-day property administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and general office systems; prior Yardi experience is preferred.
• Ability to handle invoices, financial data, and administrative records with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable coordinating with maintenance teams, vendors, and internal departments in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Compensation
