10+ Year Personal Injury Trial Attorney
We are looking for an accomplished personal injury trial attorney to join a legal team in Phoenix, Arizona. This opportunity is suited for a plaintiff-side litigator with a strong courtroom background and a record of significant trial outcomes in complex injury matters. The role calls for a strategic advocate who can independently drive cases from initial evaluation through verdict while delivering exceptional representation for injured clients. Competitive base salary plus quarterly bonuses.
Responsibilities:
• Lead plaintiff-side personal injury matters through all phases of litigation, from case assessment and filing strategy to trial preparation and courtroom advocacy.
• Build persuasive case theories by analyzing liability, damages, medical documentation, expert input, and other evidentiary materials.
• Draft and refine pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents with a high level of precision and legal judgment.
• Manage a substantial caseload effectively by prioritizing deadlines, coordinating discovery, and maintaining accurate matter progression within case management systems.
• Conduct depositions, argue motions, negotiate from a position of strength, and present cases effectively before judges and juries.
• Prepare clients, witnesses, and experts for testimony while ensuring each matter is trial-ready at every stage of the litigation process.
• Collaborate with firm leadership and legal support staff on case strategy, valuation, and trial execution for high-exposure injury claims.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to secure substantial plaintiff verdicts, including experience handling cases involving significant damages exposure.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience practicing law with a strong concentration in plaintiff-side personal injury litigation.• Verifiable first-chair or substantial trial experience in personal injury matters, including jury verdicts that can be documented.
• Demonstrated history of achieving major trial results, ideally including verdicts in excess of $5 million.
• Deep knowledge of civil litigation procedure, motion practice, discovery strategy, and trial advocacy.
• Strong legal writing skills with experience preparing briefs, motions, and other complex litigation filings.
• Proficiency with case management software and the ability to oversee files efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the applicable state bar, or eligible to meet admission requirements as needed.
Compensation
