Infrastructure Administrator

We are looking for an Infrastructure Administrator to provide onsite IT support for a non-profit organization in North Charleston, South Carolina. This Contract position will cover a two-month assignment while the organization completes its search for a long-term team member. The person in this role will help keep daily technology operations running smoothly, support users across the campus environment, and ensure continuity through effective knowledge transfer during the transition.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver onsite technical support for staff and campus users, resolving day-to-day hardware, software, and access issues.
• Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory and related Microsoft Windows environments.
• Maintain accurate rosters and user records across digital platforms to support reliable system access.
• Respond to and track service desk requests, providing timely troubleshooting and follow-up for reported issues.
• Support Windows 10 devices and other Microsoft-based systems to ensure stable performance and usability.
• Partner with the departing team member to capture essential processes, documentation, and operational knowledge.
• Assist with general infrastructure and desktop support needs as the primary IT contact for the site during the assignment.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience supporting Active Directory administration and user account management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and broader Microsoft Windows environments.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues involving desktops, user access, and common workplace applications.
• Experience handling service desk tickets with strong organization and follow-through.
• Comfortable providing onsite end-user support in a campus or multi-user setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in a confidential environment.

Compensation

$20.00-$23.00 Hourly
