Sr. Fullstack Engineer
Our client is a well-funded, early-stage technology company building AI-driven software that helps businesses automate complex operational and transaction-heavy workflows. The platform leverages modern AI technologies to streamline document processing, data extraction, and decision-making at scale.
As the company continues to grow, they are looking to add a Senior Software Engineer to their San Francisco team.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that support high-volume business operations.
- Develop and deploy AI-powered workflows that transform unstructured documents and real-world data into reliable, actionable outputs.
- Build and enhance applications across the stack using React, TypeScript, Python, Go, and Node.js.
- Partner with product and business stakeholders to solve operational challenges through software.
- Own projects from architecture and development through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvements.
- Help improve system scalability, reliability, and performance as the platform continues to grow.

Qualifications:
• 6+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong preference for senior-level impact in startup or high-growth settings.
• Strong experience building and shipping production applications.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/LLM-based solutions.
• Solid experience developing modern web applications with React.js and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to own projects end to end, from initial design through implementation, release, and operational support.
• Sound technical judgment with the ability to make effective trade-offs between delivery timelines, reliability, and long-term scalability.
• Experience working closely with founders, executives, customers, or business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Willingness to work on-site regularly in San Francisco, California, or relocate for in-person collaboration.
Compensation
