Customer Service Representative- Personal-Lines Insurance

We are looking for a dedicated Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to support clients and internal teams from our Hingham, Massachusetts office. In this role, you will manage daily service needs for personal insurance accounts while helping ensure responsive, accurate communication with policyholders and carrier partners. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing client support, policy administration, and coverage coordination in a fast-paced agency setting.

Responsibilities:
• Manage an assigned portfolio of personal insurance accounts, including home, automobile, umbrella, and other individual coverage types.
• Handle service requests such as endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and policy updates with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.
• Review upcoming renewals, evaluate existing coverage, and help identify adjustments that align with clients’ changing insurance needs.
• Work directly with insurance carriers to request pricing, complete transactions, address service issues, and confirm suitable coverage options.
• Respond to client questions professionally and provide clear guidance on policy details, coverage changes, and account activity.
• Support producers and account management staff by maintaining organized records and assisting with ongoing account servicing tasks.
• Use agency management platforms and carrier systems to document activity, process policy administration work, and keep account information current.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in personal lines insurance

• Background in customer service, account coordination, or insurance account support.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused approach and close attention to detail.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Word.

• Massachusetts Property & Casualty preferred

Compensation

$65,000.00-$70,000.00 Yearly
