Accounting Manager/Supervisor
Responsibilities:
• Direct monthly and annual close activities to support timely, accurate reporting of financial results.
• Prepare, review, and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and detailed schedules for key accounts such as revenue, accruals, cash, and balance sheet items.
• Produce monthly financial reporting packages, including balance sheet and profit and loss statements, with complete supporting analysis.
• Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and promote consistent application of accounting policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
• Oversee reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, sub-ledgers, and other significant balance sheet accounts to resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Develop and review supplemental schedules related to prepaids, reserves, inventory-related balances, and other account analyses.
• Collaborate with teams across finance, operations, and commercial functions to determine proper accounting treatment for transactions and business activities.
• Support external audit activities by organizing documentation, responding to auditor requests, and helping ensure a smooth year-end review process.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.• Progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting or other fast-moving business environment.
• Strong working knowledge of financial reporting principles and general ledger management.
• Demonstrated success leading month-end and year-end close processes.
• Hands-on experience with account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and financial statement production.
• Background supporting external audits and coordinating with independent auditors.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with close attention to detail.
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and common accounting systems is preferred.
