Controller
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to lead our accounting and financial reporting functions. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing the month-end and year-end close processes, and delivering accurate financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong accounting knowledge, a process-improvement mindset, and the ability to partner effectively with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities
- Develop and maintain financial controls and accounting procedures
- Coordinate audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors and tax advisors
- Analyze financial results and provide recommendations to improve performance and profitability
- Support strategic planning and decision-making with accurate financial data and insights
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation
