Full Charge Bookkeeper
Responsibilities:
• Reconcile multiple bank accounts each month and investigate any discrepancies to keep cash records accurate and current.
• Review and balance company credit card activity across several accounts, confirming proper coding and documentation for all transactions.
• Prepare journal entries and complete account reconciliations to support an accurate and efficient monthly close process.
• Produce monthly financial reports that provide clear visibility into operating results and account activity.
• Maintain inventory-related accounting records and process adjustments as needed to reflect manufacturing activity accurately.
• Apply cost accounting principles to help track product-related costs and support sound financial reporting.
• Use NetSuite to manage day-to-day accounting tasks, maintain reliable data, and support ongoing financial operations.
• Build and update Excel-based schedules and analyses using formulas to organize financial information and improve reporting accuracy.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience working as a full charge bookkeeper or accountant with ownership of day-to-day accounting functions.• Hands-on NetSuite experience with the ability to manage reconciliations, entries, and monthly reporting within the system.
• Background in a manufacturing environment, including familiarity with inventory accounting and operational financial workflows.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Solid Excel skills, including the use of formulas to analyze, organize, and validate accounting data.
• Experience completing bank and credit card reconciliations with a high level of accuracy and consistency.
• Understanding of cost accounting concepts and their application within a product-based business.
• Ability to work independently in a part-time contract role while managing deadlines and maintaining precise financial records.
