Intergration Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Integration Analyst to support a government initiative in Richmond, Virginia. This Long-term Contract position will play a key role in shaping external data and system connectivity for a new program supporting Paid Family Medical Leave administration. The ideal candidate will translate business needs into practical integration specifications, coordinate with outside partners, and help ensure reliable data exchanges across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and document integration needs for external organizations involved in program operations and service delivery.

• Partner with agencies, healthcare organizations, identity verification providers, payroll platforms, and fraud prevention vendors to define connectivity expectations.

• Analyze business processes and convert functional needs into interface designs, data mapping details, and business rules.

• Outline API and system interface specifications to guide implementation by technical teams and third-party vendors.

• Create high-level test scenarios to validate integration behavior, data accuracy, and end-to-end processing outcomes.

• Provide vendors with clear, structured requirements and technical documentation before build activities begin.

• Review data exchange payloads and identify gaps, risks, or inconsistencies that could affect downstream operations.

• Support collaboration between business stakeholders and technical resources to keep integration deliverables aligned with program goals.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or systems integration-focused roles.
• Demonstrated ability to gather and define requirements for APIs, interfaces, and external data exchanges.
• Working knowledge of testing, validation, and quality assurance approaches for integrated systems.
• Experience using Microsoft SQL for data analysis, validation, or troubleshooting activities.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and analytical methods used to interpret requirements and support decision-making.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Experience working with vendor partners and managing integration-related documentation and expectations.
• Understanding of fraud analytics, identity verification workflows, or related compliance-driven data processes is preferred.

Compensation

$45.00-$55.00 Hourly
