Human Resources (HR) Generalist
Responsibilities:
• Manage core human resources activities across employee onboarding, record maintenance, and day-to-day administrative support.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and escalating issues when appropriate.
• Coordinate recruitment support efforts, including recruitment activity for construction-related roles and communication with candidates and managers.
• Administer benefits-related tasks such as enrollments, updates, and employee questions regarding available programs.
• Maintain accurate information within the HRIS and ensure personnel data is current, complete, and properly documented.
• Assist with preparing HR paperwork, tracking employment changes, and supporting compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Partner with office leadership to help keep HR processes efficient and responsive in a small team environment.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience working as an HR Generalist or in a broad human resources support role.• Knowledge of employee relations practices and the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
• Hands-on experience with onboarding processes, HR administration, and personnel documentation.
• Familiarity with benefits administration, including employee support and record updates.
• Experience using HRIS platforms to manage employee information and HR workflows.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office setting.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative and service-oriented approach.
Compensation
