Medical Receptionist
Responsibilities:
• Welcome patients and visitors, provide front-desk assistance, and ensure a positive first impression of the practice.
• Manage patient check-in activities, confirm appointment details, and update demographic or insurance information as needed.
• Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries appropriately, and relay accurate messages to clinical or administrative staff.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and help maintain an efficient daily calendar for providers and patients.
• Perform routine reception and clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized front office records.
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding office procedures, forms, and next steps during their visit.
• Support smooth office workflow by collaborating with staff and addressing front-desk issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a medical front office or medical receptionist position.• Demonstrated ability to handle patient check-in and general reception responsibilities efficiently.
• Working knowledge of basic medical terminology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented and courteous approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Proficiency with standard office systems, phone etiquette, and administrative processes.
Compensation
