Purchasing Coordinator
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supply chain records by entering, updating, and validating operational information in company systems.
• Review completed transactions to confirm data quality, resolve inconsistencies, and ensure records are complete and properly documented.
• Process daily purchasing and logistics-related transactions, including updates tied to orders, shipments, delivery timing, and supporting documentation.
• Track assigned program activities, open issues, vendor-related concerns, and quality matters through follow-up and resolution.
• Partner with procurement, customer service, logistics, and operations teams to keep work moving smoothly across functions.
• Prepare and distribute reports, meeting notes, presentations, and other operational documents for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain shared tracking files, organize records according to established procedures, and flag exceptions that require leadership attention.
• Contribute to process improvements by identifying workflow gaps, refining documentation, and supporting more efficient administrative practices.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, logistics, operations coordination, or a related business function.• Hands-on experience with purchase orders, purchasing activities, vendor coordination, and supply chain support processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
• Advanced organizational ability with close attention to detail and a consistent approach to data accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, analysis, and reporting, along with experience using ERP or cloud-based business systems.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with supply chain management and logistics processes, including documentation, reporting, and transaction support.
Compensation
