AR/Collections Specialists

We have upcoming opportunities for Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialists in Chattanooga! These roles will involve a significant amount of numerical data entry, attention to detail, managing collections primarily through email correspondence, and report generation. Local organizations will need help with aging reports for the end of the year and close periods-- previous experience in high volume environments needed. These positions will require onsite presence in Chattanooga and North Georgia

Responsibilities:

• Handle numerical data entry into the system, including processing hundreds of emails

• Ensure accurate data entry and maintain reports using intermediate Excel knowledge

• Manage collections, reaching out to customers to collect missing funds, primarily via email

• Conduct research as needed to support collection efforts

• Handle a large volume of email correspondence, including sending hundreds of emails

• Manage heavy collections towards the end of the month to report numbers accurately for reporting

• Ensure numbers are entered accurately

• Use ERP and other collections tools for various tasks

• Handle Customer Invoices and Aging Reports

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable / Collections

• Proficient in Collections and Commercial Collections

• Familiarity with accounting software systems

• Ability to generate and analyze Aging Reports

• Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Data Entry - Numeric

• Skilled in handling Customer Invoices

• Excellent Email Correspondence skills

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Good understanding of financial regulations

• Ability to handle confidential information
