HR Assistant

• Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department
• Maintain and update employee records, files, and HR databases
• Assist with onboarding new hires, including preparing paperwork and scheduling orientation
• Support recruitment efforts by posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
• Process employment documents such as offer letters, new hire forms, and status changes
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
• Assist with benefits enrollment and related paperwork
• Track attendance, time-off requests, and other employee data as needed
• Help coordinate training sessions, meetings, and employee events
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and HR-related documents
• Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
• Previous administrative, office, or HR support experience preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus
