Operations Coordintaor

A busy distribution company in Oceanside is looking for an Operations Coordinator to help keep daily orders, inventory, vendors, and internal teams moving efficiently.

This isn't a traditional administrative position. You'll work directly with Warehouse, Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics to identify issues and make sure orders and operational requests are handled correctly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operational requests
• Track customer and internal orders
• Communicate with warehouse and purchasing teams
• Monitor inventory availability
• Assist with purchase orders and vendor communication
• Track shipments and delivery schedules
• Research order discrepancies
• Maintain operational spreadsheets and reports
• Update information within ERP systems
• Coordinate product transfers and returns
• Follow up on outstanding issues
• Assist with scheduling and workflow coordination
• Prepare daily and weekly operations reports
• Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of operations, administrative, customer service, or logistics experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Comfortable working with ERP systems
• Excellent organization and follow-through
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Distribution, manufacturing, or warehouse experience is a plus
