Software Test Engineer
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher 2+ years of relevant software test or software engineering experience Proven experience performing software testing on complex, multi-disciplinary projects Experience with software test automation Hands-on development experience in at least one of the following: C#/.NET, C, C++, Java, Python, or Ruby Strong communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership and government customers Emotional and detail oriented maturity U.S. must be eligible to work in the U.S. required Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance Must be located in North Alabama or willing to relocate to the Huntsville area Preferred Qualifications Experience writing UI tests using automated UI testing technologies Familiarity with industry standards such as IEEE 12207, CMMI, DO-178C, DO-278, MIL-STD-882E, and RMF Ability to work across multiple products under development by multiple small teams Knowledge of Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) principles Experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices Experience testing guidance and control algorithms, navigation systems, mission planning systems, or sensors Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML Understanding of hardware-software integration and software systems engineering principlesCompensation
