AML Analyst
We are working with a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking detail-oriented AML Analysts to join their team on a long-term contract for the next 16 months.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) .
The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and written communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate information, identify potential risks, and clearly document findings.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze financial information and account activity for potential compliance and financial crime concerns
- Conduct investigations and research in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements
- Identify and escalate potentially suspicious or unusual activity
- Document investigative findings and maintain accurate case records
- Prepare clear, concise written summaries and recommendations
- Apply AML, compliance, and financial crime procedures consistently
- Work collaboratively with internal teams while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
- Meet established productivity, quality, and performance expectations
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; degree field is open (This is a MUST have)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in AML
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or potential risks
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to clearly document findings
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Comfortable working in a structured, highly regulated environment
Work Schedule
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office (in Jacksonville) / 2 days remote
- The first 5–7 weeks will consist of comprehensive training. Due to the nature of the training program, candidates must be available to work the full training period without planned time off.
Additional Requirements
- Successful completion of criminal background is required
- Investment/trading restrictions will apply to all employees in this role due to the nature of the position and regulatory requirements
Compensation
