Description:

Serve as the Senior Application Developer / Lead. The role oversees the application architecture and leads the technical team responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, securing, enhancing, testing, documenting, and supporting the organization across development, test, UAT, and production environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the application architecture and provide technical leadership for the development and O&M team.
  • Monitor and maintain application availability, performance, health, operational readiness, batch jobs, scheduled processes, data transfers, system/application logs, backups, and lower-environment restore validation.
  • Lead bug fixes, defect remediation, configuration adjustments, authorized data corrections, minor enhancements, and code changes required to maintain operational stability and environmental compatibility.
  • Develop, maintain, and integrate software using ASP.Net/.NET Framework, J2EE, object-oriented design/programming, WSDL/Web Services, RDBMS technologies, JavaScript/JQuery/VBScript, LLBLGen Pro, Kendo, Telerik, Salesforce, and SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Support configuration management, version control, software release management, code reviews, automated testing, and Agile delivery using tools such as GitLab, JIRA, GitHub, Visual Studio, and related NIST-provided tools.
  • Support API and data integrations involving Salesforce, Dun & Bradstreet, survey vendors, supplier scouting tools, and NIST enterprise services such as ServiceNow, GitLab, JIRA, and GitHub.
  • Coordinate with SharePoint, server, network, infrastructure, cloud, Office 365, Salesforce, and security teams, as well as third-party vendors.
  • Perform change analysis, impact/risk assessment, release planning, post-implementation validation, rollback support, root-cause analysis, and incident/problem management activities.
  • Support security assessments, audits, authorization activities, access controls, security patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance with applicable NIST, CISA, and FISMA requirements.
  • Maintain system architecture, database mapping, SOPs, configuration/version-control records, user documentation, technical documentation, and required operational/status reporting.
  • Provide technical direction to developers, coordinate priorities and requirements with Government stakeholders, and ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Provide user support, troubleshooting, training, and knowledge transfer as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Years of Experience: Minimum 10+ years of related application development experience.
  • Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in an IT field from an accredited U.S. university.
  • Clearance Requirements: U.S. citizenship required. National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) is required.
  • Expertise required in ASP.Net/.NET Framework, J2EE, OOD, OOP, WSDL, Web Services, RDBMS solution development, JQuery, JavaScript, VBScript, GitLab, Visual Studio, LLBLGen Pro, Kendo, Telerik, TFS, JQuery Maps, Salesforce, and SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Experience designing applications on large-scale DBMS platforms and developing complex software to satisfy system design objectives.
  • Ability to translate detailed designs and business requirements into software; test, debug, refine, document, and enhance applications for reliability and efficiency.
  • Ability to lead technical work, provide direction to programmers/developers, and manage deadlines while coordinating with Government technical and program stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile development, configuration/release management, automated testing, API development/integration, incident response, security remediation, and technical documentation is strongly aligned to the TOPR/PWS.
  • Knowledge of federal IT security and compliance practices, including agency guidance and FISMA-aligned environments, is important for successful performance.

Salary Range: $149,000 to $179,000

The compensation range listed for this position represents the good faith salary range Din Development Corporation (DDC) and its subsidiaries reasonably expect to pay for the role, in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the position's responsibilities, the candidate's education, experience, skills, internal equity, market considerations, and any applicable collective bargaining agreements or legal requirements.
