About the Team
The Software Transversal Organization develops and supports common software infrastructure, frameworks, and engineering tools that enable multiple product teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable software platforms. Our mission is to build reusable capabilities once and enable broad adoption across products while continuously improving engineering efficiency and software quality.
As a software engineer, you will work alongside with other team members to develop performance engineering tools, automation frameworks, and data analytics solutions that help product teams understand, measure, and optimize software performance across distributed systems and embedded platforms.
An internal pre-identified candidate for consideration has been identified. However, all applications will be considered.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$106,000.00 - $170,200.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software tools for collecting system performance metrics
- Implement reusable instrumentation and monitoring capabilities for software components and services.
- Compose test scenarios that evaluate system behavior under various workloads and operating conditions.
- Support execution of large-scale performance
- Experiments on development and test platforms.
- Generate dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate performance results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or similar experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 1+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with software development in Linux or embedded Linux environments.
- Knowledge of software performance analysis concepts.
- Proficiency in C++ and/or Python.
- Understanding of software profiling and debugging
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with one or more of the following:
- Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD platforms
- Prometheus, Grafana, Open-Telemetry, or related observability tools
- Experience working on robotics, medical devices, industrial automation, autonomous systems, or distributed software platforms
