Audit Manager - Public
Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee audit, review, and compilation engagements for clients across diverse industries.
• Develop audit strategies, manage project budgets, and ensure timely completion of engagements.
• Perform financial statement and 401(k) audits, particularly for private equity clients.
• Conduct assessments of risks and internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Offer consulting insights and address complex accounting challenges with innovative solutions.
• Deliver exceptional client service by building and maintaining trusted relationships.
• Manage the firm’s peer review process to uphold quality standards.
• Ensure all audit processes align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Supervise and mentor audit staff to support their growth and development.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in auditing within a regional firm.
• Comprehensive understanding of auditing practices, controls, and methodologies.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and client expectations.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with accounting software such as Accounting CS, UltraTax CS, and QuickBooks.
Compensation
$120,000.00-$150,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
