Human Resources Generalist

A well-established and growing organization in the Keene area is seeking a Human Resources Generalist / Payroll Specialist to support day-to-day HR operations and payroll administration. This is a highly visible role that will partner closely with leadership and employees across multiple departments.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain weekly payroll for a multi-site workforce
• Support employee onboarding, personnel records, and HR administration
• Assist with recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, and workforce matters
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies
• Maintain accurate HR and payroll records and reporting
• Assist employees with benefits administration and related questions
• Support policy implementation, employee communications, and HR initiatives
• Participate in special projects and other HR-related functions as needed

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a generalist capacity
• Exposure to payroll processing and payroll-related functions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build relationships and effectively support employees and managers at all levels
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
