Accounts Receivable Clerk
Responsibilities:
• Process customer invoices accurately and on schedule while maintaining complete billing records.
• Apply incoming payments to the appropriate accounts and resolve discrepancies that affect account balances.
• Monitor aged receivables and conduct commercial collections through consistent follow-up with customers.
• Reconcile account activity to ensure cash postings, open balances, and payment details are correct.
• Investigate payment issues and coordinate with internal teams to address billing or account concerns promptly.
• Maintain organized documentation related to receivables transactions, collections activity, and account updates.
• Assist with routine accounts receivable reporting to support visibility into outstanding balances and cash activity.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience working in accounts receivable or a closely related accounting support role.• Practical knowledge of billing processes, cash application, and receivables account maintenance.
• Experience handling commercial collections with a detail-oriented and customer-focused approach.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when posting payments and reviewing account information.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Comfortable communicating with customers and internal stakeholders regarding account status and payment issues.
• Proficiency with standard accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Compensation
