Accounts Payable Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to support a busy accounting team on a temporary basis. This role will focus heavily on matching invoices to purchase orders, entering and coding invoices within the accounting system, and ensuring accuracy throughout the accounts payable process.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, has strong organizational skills, and takes pride in maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Match vendor invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Enter invoices accurately into the accounting system
• Review invoices for completeness, proper approvals, and coding
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Maintain organized electronic and paper records
• Assist with AP reporting and account reconciliations as needed
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding invoice questions
• Support the accounting team with additional administrative duties and special projects

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Payable, Accounting Clerk, or Data Entry experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience working within an ERP or accounting software system
• Ability to process high volumes of data efficiently
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
