Sr. Financial Analyst

Compensation: $100 to $120 Yearly

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to support financial planning, performance evaluation, and strategic decision-making for a real estate property and facilities management organization in Mclean, Virginia. This role will turn complex financial data into clear business insights, helping leadership assess results, identify trends, and improve forecasting accuracy. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, advanced modeling capability, and the ability to deliver meaningful recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain financial models that support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across property and facilities management operations.
• Examine operating results and investigate variances between actual performance, budget, and forecast to explain key business drivers.
• Prepare recurring and on-demand financial analyses for leadership to support planning, investment decisions, and operational priorities.
• Gather, organize, and interpret large data sets from multiple sources to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities affecting financial performance.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop reporting, improve financial visibility, and strengthen decision support.
• Produce clear summaries, dashboards, and presentations that translate detailed analysis into actionable recommendations for management.
• Evaluate financial outcomes at the portfolio, asset, or departmental level and highlight areas for cost control and margin improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably within real estate, property management, facilities management, or a related industry.

• Strong expertise in financial modeling, including scenario analysis and forecast development.

• Demonstrated ability to perform variance analysis and explain changes in financial results with clarity and accuracy.

• Experience delivering ad hoc analysis in response to evolving business questions and leadership requests.

• Proficiency in data mining and working with large, complex data sets to support business insights.

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to business stakeholders.
