Consolidation Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review consolidated financial reports to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with applicable accounting standards.
• Analyze general ledger activity across multiple entities and resolve discrepancies that affect consolidated results.
• Validate financial information submitted by business units and investigate unusual balances, variances, or reporting inconsistencies.
• Partner with finance leadership to support timely month-end and period-end reporting deliverables.
• Strengthen reporting processes by identifying opportunities to improve controls, consistency, and data quality across the organization.
• Develop reporting and analytical outputs using Power BI and other tools to provide clear visibility into financial performance.
• Support technical accounting assessments and apply sound judgment to complex reporting matters affecting consolidation.
• Assist with reporting enhancements and related process updates that improve the integrity and usability of financial information.
Qualifications:
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to interpret and apply accounting guidance in a corporate environment.• Experience working with general ledger structures and consolidated financial reporting.
• Prior public accounting experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in reviewing, reconciling, and validating financial data from multiple entities or reporting groups.
• Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools to organize and present financial information.
• Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Compensation
