Reporting directly to the President, the Director of Finance will serve as the company’s top financial leader and a key member of the leadership team. What You’ll Do

As Director of Finance, you will:

  • Serve as a key member of the Leadership Team and a trusted financial advisor to the President and Board.
  • Lead the full Finance and Accounting function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, cash management, internal controls, and financial analysis.
  • Deliver meaningful financial insights related to profitability, margins, costs, cash flow, working capital, and capital investments.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization on strategic initiatives, pricing decisions, contracts, capital projects, and business growth opportunities.
  • Provide financial oversight and support for a joint venture operation in Mexico, as well as other related business interests.
  • Manage relationships with banks, external CPA firms, and other financial and professional advisors.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Finance team while strengthening processes, cross-training, and continuity of critical financial knowledge.
  • Provide organizational oversight of the IT function through the IT Manager.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting, controls, processes, and the effective use of technology throughout the organization.



Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.

• At least 7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including significant leadership responsibility.

• Strong command of financial reporting, annual budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, internal controls, and month-end close activities.

• Experience within a manufacturing setting, with solid knowledge of standard cost accounting and operational finance.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop finance or accounting professionals.

• Sound business judgment with the ability to translate financial results into practical recommendations for operational leaders.

• Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively at both strategic and detailed levels.

  • • Experience in an employee-owned business, joint venture environment, or international operation is valued; CPA, CMA, or MBA credentials are preferred but not required.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including meaningful leadership responsibility.
  • High degree of integrity, judgment, discretion, and accountability.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing finance and cost accounting.
  • Experience leading and developing accounting and/or finance professionals.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to turn financial information into practical recommendations.
  • Ability to operate effectively at both the strategic and detailed levels.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.



Compensation

$120,000.00-$150,000.00 Yearly
