Controller
Responsibilities:
• Direct corporate accounting operations and ensure financial reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned across all entities.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including consolidated reporting and the application of consistent accounting practices.
• Provide leadership and guidance to controllers and accounting teams within subsidiary businesses to promote accountability and operational alignment.
• Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial analysis that supports business decisions.
• Evaluate financial and operational performance, identify trends and risks, and recommend actions to improve profitability, liquidity, and efficiency.
• Support treasury-related activities such as cash flow planning, banking coordination, financing support, and working capital management.
• Maintain a strong control environment by overseeing compliance with accounting standards, regulatory obligations, and internal policies.
• Coordinate external financial reviews, valuation support, audit readiness efforts, insurance renewals, and broader risk management activities.
• Lead finance technology and process improvement initiatives, including system implementation, automation, and reporting enhancements.
• Develop and mentor the accounting organization while supporting acquisitions, integrations, and other strategic corporate initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.• At least 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial leadership roles.
• Minimum of 5 years in a Controller, Corporate Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar senior accounting leadership position.
• Public accounting experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial statement preparation, and multi-entity consolidations.
• Experience establishing internal controls, supporting compliance, and improving financial governance.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing and developing accounting teams.
• Proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools, with NetSuite experience preferred.
Compensation
