Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Garden Grove, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing invoice processing, account coding, and payments with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:
• Process and review invoices to ensure accuracy in coding and compliance with company policies.
• Perform account coding and reconcile discrepancies in financial records.
• Manage payment processing, including ACH transactions and check runs, to meet payment deadlines.
• Utilize NetSuite software to streamline accounts payable operations and reporting.
• Conduct three-way matching to verify purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
• Handle manual invoice processing and resolve any related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions for audit purposes.
• Collaborate with internal departments to address payment inquiries and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company standards in all accounts payable activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
• Proficiency in NetSuite software for financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of ACH transactions and check processing.
• Experience with three-way matching and manual invoice handling.
• Ability to perform accurate account coding and reconcile discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.

Compensation

$24.00-$30.00 Hourly
