Database Developer

We are looking for a Database Developer having Alfresco platform experience to support data-driven initiatives through database development, integration, and optimization in Indianapolis, Indiana. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a detail-oriented candidate with hands-on experience building SQL-based solutions, developing ETL processes, and creating reliable, stored procedures to support business operations. The role will focus on improving data flow, maintaining database performance, and contributing to scalable backend solutions across interconnected systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server to support application and reporting needs

• Develop and optimize ETL workflows that move and transform data accurately between source and target systems

• Create, enhance, and troubleshoot stored procedures, queries, and scripts using T-SQL

• Monitor database performance and implement improvements that strengthen efficiency, reliability, and data quality

• Partner with technical and business teams to translate data requirements into practical database designs and processes

• Support integrations involving platforms such as Alfresco and MuleSoft to enable consistent data exchange across systems

• Investigate data issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve defects affecting database functionality

• Document database logic, process flows, and technical specifications to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience working in a Database Developer or similar data-focused role
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL in a detail-focused environment
• Hands-on experience developing ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Strong capability in writing and optimizing stored procedures and T-SQL code
• Familiarity with database troubleshooting, performance tuning, and data validation practices
• Experience working with integration-related tools or platforms such as Alfresco and MuleSoft
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
