Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and balance sheet integrity
• Analyze financial results and prepare variance analyses
• Review lease documentation to ensure accurate accounting treatment and tenant billings
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Prepare financial schedules and reporting packages
• Participate in acquisition, disposition, financing, and due diligence activities as needed
• Assist with internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit support
• Partner with operations and other departments on accounting-related initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline
• 1-4 years of accounting experience
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with commercial real estate, property accounting, REITs, Yardi, or Voyager is a plus
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Compensation

$85,000.00-$120,000.00 Yearly
