Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support accurate and efficient record management for a Contract position based in Portland, Tennessee. This role is ideal for someone who works well with high-volume information, maintains strong accuracy, and is comfortable using computer-based systems throughout the day. The successful candidate will help keep business data organized, current, and easy to access while contributing to smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities:
• Enter numeric and text-based information into computer systems with a high level of accuracy.
• Review submitted data for completeness and correct errors before finalizing records.
• Maintain organized digital files and update information as new details become available.
• Process large volumes of information efficiently while meeting established turnaround expectations.
• Verify entered information against source documents to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Support routine administrative data tasks that help maintain accurate operational records.
• Follow company procedures for handling confidential information and secure documentation.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in data entry or a similar administrative support role.
• Strong typing skills with the ability to enter information quickly and accurately.
• Proficiency with computer-based data entry systems and standard office software.
• Ability to work with numeric data and maintain close attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage repetitive tasks effectively.
• Capability to review information carefully and identify discrepancies or missing details.

Compensation

$18.00-$20.00 Hourly
