Description:

Position Serves as the Azure subject matter expert supporting Azure subscriptions and instances, cloud architecture, governance, security, modernization, and cost optimization. The position works with government personnel, security operations, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to design and sustain secure, scalable hybrid-cloud solutions and provide architectural oversight for cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

**This Role is Contingent Upon Contract Award**

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Azure cloud spending, identify trends, develop cost-reduction strategies, maintain cloud budgets, and forecast future cloud costs.
  • Evaluate and select Azure services, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Policy, and other cloud-native services, to support enterprise workloads.
  • Design secure Azure landing zones and implement governance models using management groups, role-based access control (RBAC), tagging strategies, and Azure Policy.
  • Embed Zero Trust principles, identity governance, and threat protection into cloud designs in coordination with security operations.
  • Ensure Azure solutions align with applicable Federal mandates and security requirements, including FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, EO 14028, CNSSI 1253, and internal security policies.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud spend using Azure Cost Management and Azure Advisor.
  • Architect cloud-native and hybrid-cloud solutions that integrate Azure services with on-premises systems.
  • Coordinate with DevOps, security, infrastructure, and government stakeholders to maintain architectural consistency and alignment with mission requirements.
  • Provide architectural oversight for cloud migration and modernization projects and support secure, highly available Azure operations.
  • Support classified/SPIRNet systems as authorized and maintain required technical/security documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Years of Experience: Minimum 4 or more years of experience within the Azure cloud environment
  • Education Level: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science
  • Clearance Requirements: Active Secret clearance required for this position.
  • Certification Requirements: None required but Azure-focused professional certification is strongly desired (e.g., Microsoft Azure Administrator and/or Azure Solutions Architect)
  • Any other work-related qualifications needed for the role: Strong hands-on knowledge of Azure governance, Azure Policy, RBAC, management groups, Azure Cost Management, Azure Advisor, hybrid-cloud architecture, Zero Trust, identity governance, threat protection, FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, EO 14028, and CNSSI 1253. Must be able to collaborate across security, DevOps, infrastructure, and Government teams and communicate architecture and cost recommendations clearly.

Salary Range: $109,000 to $139.000

The compensation range listed for this position represents the good faith salary range Din Development Corporation (DDC) and its subsidiaries reasonably expect to pay for the role, in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the position's responsibilities, the candidate's education, experience, skills, internal equity, market considerations, and any applicable collective bargaining agreements or legal requirements.
