Position Description

A student employed to perform work as assigned by the supervisor.

Major/Essential Functions

• Responsible for circulating library materials on the computer system
• Must assist students, faculty, and staff on the telephone and in person
• Must answer incoming telephone calls providing information regarding library services and resources and direct reference questions to the Reference Librarians
• Must staff the Public Services desk
• Must assist patrons with printers and computers

Occasional Duties

Perform other duties as necessary

Required Qualifications

A student enrolled in at least six hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must be available to work evenings and weekends
